Here is my personal story:

There was a time in my life when making people look good and giving them a beautiful reflection was my profession.  I owned a Plastic Surgery Center in downtown Orinda. I was successful. But in an instant, with the crunch and grind of flesh on metal, my world was shattered.

The life I had built was focused on beauty, elegance, and perfection.  As you know, breakdowns lead to breakthroughs. I finally reached my breaking point. I was determined to take back my life. I wanted to be proactive with my body. I wanted control. If anyone could find a way to make their body work like it’s supposed to, it should be me.

As I continued to work on my fitness, mobility, strength, and physical health; my self-esteem and confidence were restored. I REGAINED CONTROL OF MY LIFE! I felt empowered.

My road to recovery didn’t end there! Along my journey, I learned that image and beauty are superficial. They can be stripped away in the blink of an eye. However, a fit body, an alert mind - along with a healthy lifestyle can:

·      Prolong your life

·      Make you feel younger and more attractive to yourself, your partner and your        friends

·      Give you boundless energy

·      Change your life so that you can be your Personal Best
